- ensure that an equitable service is provided to all users of the library facilities
- ensure that you are aware of your responsibilities
- help maintain a library environment that is conducive to study for everyone.
By signing your home university’s rules and regulations you have agreed to the Drill Hall Library’s rules and regulations. Our code of conduct provides an outline of your responsibilities in respect of the library and this should be read in conjunction with the rules and regulations.
It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with and to observe the Drill Hall Library‘s rules and regulations, code of conduct and the IT policies of your home institution.
IT policies Drill Hall Library users are required to abide by the regulations for computer use issued by their home institution, which should be read and applied in conjunction with the Drill Hall Library rules and regulations. It is your responsibility to read and comply with these regulations, as well as your university regulations, links to which, can be found under the “Universities at Medway” section on this page.
If you are unhappy with the service you have received in your library, please speak to a member of staff at the Helpdesk who are on duty during our regular staffed opening hours, or if outside these hours, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are not satisfied with this initial approach, you can make an informal or formal complaint to the User Services Manager in writing, email M.Brooks@greenwich.ac.uk or telephone 01634 883878
Students. If you are not satisfied that the matter has been resolved with Library Services, you should follow your University’s Student complaint procedure
External access membership holders. Should contact the Library User Services Manager. Complaints must be put in writing and emailed to M.Brooks@greenwich.ac.uk
