Last entry to the Library is 15 minutes before the published closing time. Please ensure that you leave the building promptly prior to advertised closing times.

Essential improvement works will commence on Monday 3 August until the end of the month.
This will affect the availability of some spaces and services. Use of printers will still be available in the Group Zone.

The library will revert to summer operating hours from Saturday 20 June until Sunday 27 September 2026

Before you visit
Library and IT Support services are available for students and staff Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 (except Bank Holidays).
Food policy: Food prepared cold, such as sandwiches and snacks are the only foods permitted to be brought into the library, lidded drinks are permitted. To ensure the library space is free from strong odours and kept clean, we do not permit entry into the library of fast food deliveries or any hot food from any takeaway outlets including those on campus
You can book a group study space for up to 6 students (available term time only). There is also private study space available which seats 2, or 2 single Pods available for individual use. Students with childcare responsibilities (Children under 18 years of age) can book an individual space in our family room between the hours of 9am – 5pm.
This service is available to the students of the Universities at Medway only.
