Print from your device (also known as web print)
Website to the University printing system. It enables A4 printing via the network to the existing University printing system from your laptop, Mac, tablet or mobile device without the need to install drivers or software. Supported documents types are Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, txt and image files in the following formats: JPG, GIF, PNG, TIF

Poster Printing
Large format printing
Poster printing is for academic work only and must not be used for personal projects.
Using a desktop in the Group Zone of the Drill Hall Library will automatically connect the poster print queues. You can print your poster in 3 sizes:
A2 (small) = £1.00
A1 (medium) = £2.00
A0 (large) = £4.00
Payment will be deducted from your print credit account just like the normal A4 printing. Please see the printing tab for details on how to top up your print credit

LapSafe
Need to loan a laptop?
Use our LapSafe in the Drill Hall Library. Laptops can be used anywhere on campus and have access to WiFi via eduroam.
There are two loan options available:
Same day loan. These laptops are loaned without charging cables, and they should not be taken off campus.
7 day loan laptops come with a charging cable and can be taken off campus. They can only connect to eduroam, so there will be no WiFi access off campus.

Students with a valid academic email address can get Office 365 Education plus 1 TB online storage free. Install Office on up to five PCs or Macs and on other mobile devices, including Windows tablets and iPad.
