UK national libraries

A national library is a country's pre-eminent information repository, including numerous rare, valuable and significant works. You will not normally be able to borrow books from a national library, but you may be able to view part of the library's collections in one of their reading rooms, by appointment. Please ensure that you read the admission criteria and registration requirements before visiting.
