Electronic resources - LibrarySearch
Your university will provide many useful electronic resources to help you find information for your studies, which will be available through a service called LibrarySearch. Our librarians can help you make good use of these. There are many types of resources available to you, including electronic books, journals and newspapers, as well as databases (large collections of information).
To access LibrarySearch for your institution:
- University of Greenwich - log in to the Portal and select the My Learning/Learning Support tab. From here you can access LibrarySearch or an alphabetical list of Databases and other online services.
- University of Kent - access to e-books,journal articles and much more is available through LibrarySearch.
- Canterbury Christ Church University - all the resources are listed on LibrarySearch - it is very important to Sign In before you start searching.
E-books are electronic versions of books that can be read online or downloaded to various devices. We will often have purchased an e-book in addition to the hard copies that can be found on the library shelves. E-books can be accessed from home and can be used by many people at the same time.
For information about how to access your e-books, see the library pages for your own institution:
