100th Anniversary Poppy Appeal The Royal Naval Association will be holding a commemorative service outside the Drill Hall Library on Sunday 10th September 2017. This service is a public event to commemorate the 131 men who lost their lives during the WWI bombing raid of the Drill Hall on 3rd September, 1917. The festive period is nearly here. The library will be open until 12.30 midday on Friday 23 December and will be closed for the holiday season. We open again on Monday 2 January 2017 at 11am, when we will be open 24/7 until midnight on Friday 13 January.
