Special Collections

We have a large amount of material stored in a remote facility at the Chatham Historic Dockyard. This is the collection from the former Natural Resources Institute Library and dates back to the 19th century. The subjects covered are tropical agriculture, land resources development, tropical pest management etc with some historically important specialist collections such as the Locust Archive. Items published before 1980 will generally not be on the Drill Hall Library catalogue. Contact a member of library staff if you are interested in this historical material.
