Software

We have approximately 400 PCs in the library available for students to use. All are installed with the latest Windows 7 operating system, Microsoft Office 2010, anti-virus and a range of useful software. Below is a list of applications currently installed and available to everyone.

Additonally, we work closely with the partner universities to tailor our software package to enable students to complete their coursework. Some students may have access to additional packages specific to their studies and these are listed under the relevant institution.

Students or Staff wishing to purchase the latest versions of Microsoft software such as Windows 7 and Office 2010 can take advantage of a scheme from Microsoft to purchase this software at a hugely discounted price. Information and ordering instructions are on ‘The Ultimate Steal’ website.
