Drop-in sessions for help with maths and stats.
The tutors can help you, whether you are rusty with GCSE-level maths or need specialist help with statistics for a postgraduate dissertation, or anything in between. in the first year we offered this service, 96% of students who came to one or more drop-in session passed all their courses at the first attempt, and last summer, 90% of final year students who attended a maths help session graduated with firsts or 2.1s: all our feedback suggests that everyone finds the support very useful.
The sessions run as follows for the teaching period of Term 2, from Monday 16 January to Friday 7 April. Times during the exam period will be announced nearer the time.
Medway: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 1-3pm in the Drill Hall Library. On Wednesdays the room is DB034, on the other days it is DB033.
You do not have to book for these sessions – you just drop in – but you should bring your lecture notes with you.
This service is run by the University of Greenwich, but is open to ALL students at Medway.
